Hair Loss Biotin May Help

Nature Made Biotin 2500 mcg - 180 Liquid Softgels
Nature Made Biotin 2500 mcg - 180 Liquid Softgels

Whether you are male or female, but especially for ladies, hair loss can be traumatic. Traditionally, women have put a lot of stock in the beauty of their hair, which is evidenced by the billions of dollars and millions of hours spent on grooming the hair. Just about every woman in the United States “fixes” her hair before going somewhere important, like to work, out on a date with hubby or boyfriend, or even to lunch with friends (is hair broken—why do we call it fixing?).

If you suffer hair loss, there are probably other losses occurring, as well. You may have a loss of self-image, a loss of hope, or a loss of peace of mind. If you have hair loss, biotin may help relieve, not only the hair loss, but restore your confidence in yourself.

What is biotin? Biotin is a vitamin in the family of B-vitamins; you may be more familiar with B-6 and B-12, which are common vitamins that many people don’t get enough of; in fact, B-12 shots are commonly prescribed for a variety of health concerns. Biotin is another B vitamin, which you may not be as familiar with. Hair loss experts often express the need for overall good health, and certainly getting adequate levels of the B-vitamins is essential to good general health and healthy hair. Some medical professionals even prescribe biotin to be taken as part of the Propecia or Rogaine treatment methods.

Biotin, like most vitamins and minerals, can be found naturally in different kinds of foods, but in our health-and-weight-conscious society, it is also necessary to understand that usually the biotin you get from food is not enough. Because biotin does not occur in high amounts in the food we eat, you would have to consume way too much food to get enough biotin.

So, if you have hair loss, biotin supplements may be wise, rather than trying to eat enough to get all the biotin you need. In the case you decide to eat your way to healthier hair, be sure and start a rigorous exercise workout to burn off the extra calories. Don’t you dare! I was joking about the extra eating; not the exercise though. Having thinning hair is bad enough; you don’t want to get obese in your quest to keep your hair. If you do decide to try biotin for your hair loss concerns, an added bonus would likely be healthier nails, as well. Biotin is also known for helping restore nail health.

If you are worried about losing your hair and are looking for some simpler remedies, biotin can also be found in topical products, which may be beneficial and worth a try. Biotin shampoo and biotin lotion are readily available. You are going to wash your hair and moisturize your skin, anyway, so why not get some healthy biotin while you are doing so?

Whether you are young or old, male or female, vain or down-to-earth, hair loss can be worrisome and troubling. If you do find yourself experiencing hair loss, biotin products may be one answer to your problem.

Discover The Truth About Severe Lower Back Pain

"Guide To Back Pain" Techniques to make your Back Pain Disappear
"Guide To Back Pain" Techniques to make your Back Pain Disappear

Most people are accustomed to dealing with the occasional aches and pains that spring up in our lower backs from time to time. These minor pains can be caused from a wide variety of things: overdoing it at the gym, not picking up a box properly, sleeping in an odd position, and even sitting for an extended length of time. Most of the time, these minor aches and pains can be treated with a heat wrap, some aspirin, and a little TLC. Sometimes, the problem isn’t as easily solved. Sometimes, you can have severe lower back pain.

Severe lower back pain can be extremely depressing and debilitating. It’s been proven that people that deal with chronic pain are more likely to be suicidal or on antidepressants. People get depressed and upset when they can’t do the things they once enjoyed doing. It can easily color your entirely outlook on life in general.

There are many different causes of severe lower back pain. A slipped disc, pinched nerve, seriously sprained or torn muscle, even muscle spasms can cause pain so bad that all a person wants to do is take a handful of pain medication and curl up in bed. Even though severe back pain can be devastating there is good news. Once what’s causing the pain is identified, a treatment plan can then be put into effect.

Part of determining what’s causing the severe lower back pain is discovering whether it’s a nerve problem or muscle problem. The doctor will ask you to describe your pain. Nerve pain is often described as sharp, stabbing, or shooting. Muscle pain is an ache, throbbing, or tearing pain. While the differences may seem trivial to some, it will make all the difference in any tests the doctor decides to run and in the treatment plan prescribed.

Once it’s established whether it’s a nerve or muscle causing the severe lower back pain, the doctor might order a series of tests. MRIs are often used to identify if a muscle is torn. An EMG can also be performed to determine just how damaged various muscles might be. Nerve conduction studies or nerve biopsies can be done to determine if there is any nerve damage or to help locate where a pinched nerve might be.

As soon as the extent of the injury causing the severe lower back pain is figured out, the doctor can then work with you on a treatment plan. Often, a treatment plan will consist of physical therapy, medication to relieve pain and swelling, possible surgery, and follow-up appointments down the road to see how things are progressing. If, at any time, the treatment plan doesn’t appear to be working as well as it should, you and your doctor can sit down and discuss changes to your overall plan of care.

The truth about severe back pain is there’s hope. Hope for a treatment. Hope for a cure. Hope that one day, the pain will be gone.

Hair loss shampoo for women

Hair Loss Women Not Just A Man Phenomenon

PHYTO Phytocyane Revitalizing Shampoo for Women, Thinning Hair 6.7 fl oz (200 ml)
PHYTO Phytocyane Revitalizing Shampoo for Women, Thinning Hair 6.7 fl oz (200 ml)

Someday I am certain that women will get the upper hand, but apparently that is not the case in the one area we always thought was never going to be a female problem. Hair loss, women, it turns out, is not just a male phenomenon. And of course, a man who is going bald or is already bald is said to be distinguished or even handsome. Shoot, a lot of men actually shave their heads.

Try shaving your head, though, ladies, and see how many men find it attractive. There may be one or two here and there, but really, who would want those weirdos anyway? Hair loss, women, is no reason to hide in the closet and never come out, however. You know, of course, that some hair loss is perfectly natural and normal, right? So, if you start to notice about a hundred hairs in the brush, do not fear. Everyone loses that much hair every day, but if you do think you actually have hair loss, women, there are ways to deal with excess strands in the bathroom sink.

You could buy a wig. It may sound silly, but seriously, Dolly Parton has been doing it for years, and she doesn’t even try to hide the fact. Maybe that is because no one really looks at her hair, anyway? No, I don’t think that is it. I think she enjoys the fact that she can just stick her hair on her head instead of spending an hour in the bathroom or in the “makeup chair” trying in vain to make her natural hair perfect. Or maybe Dolly has hair loss, women? I wonder…

You could get some products that help hair grow. That really famous prescription medicine that has been around for a while now really wasn’t intended to be a hair growth product, you know. The hair growth was a side effect. That’s right, a side effect. Better than nausea and vomiting and certainly it has provided the manufacturer a hefty profit. It used to be marketed and prescribed for men only, but now, as a result of feminine hair loss, women, you can get it, too.

You could try to get at the root of the problem. Some say that hair loss in women is an indication that the otherwise-healthy-seeming women in question are having some sort of issue that is making their hair thin out. Probably, it is hormones. Is there anything we women have or do that does not relate to hormones? It seems not, but testosterone is a component of lots of other issues, too – like bar fights, for example. At least our progesterone doesn’t cause that.

You could visit your stylist and get her to help you with the appearance of your hair. Hair loss women please, don’t go for the comb-over. That is one thing the men can keep.

Truth About Cosmetic Surgery For Men Is It Right For You

Internet Guide to Cosmetic Surgery for Men (Haworth Internet Medical Guides)
Internet Guide to Cosmetic Surgery for Men (Haworth Internet Medical Guides)

Is cosmetic surgery for men the right surgery for you? For years all you ever read about were female celebrities and the “rich and famous” getting plastic surgery. However, today thanks to the changes in technology, lower prices (in some cases) more men are reshaping their bodies and their facial features. But you may discover it's not quite as simple as you thought. This information will help you to determine if you really want to go under the knife to make you look a little better.

You will find the type of cosmetic surgery that is discussed in this article is for the voluntary procedures. The ones where you think a nip and tuck might take off a few years or reducing the size of your nose will make you better looking.

Other procedures which are more drastic in nature, such as a terrible disfigurement caused by fire are an entirely different type of procedure.

A little mental self examination needs to be done prior to you deciding to be operated on. Such as:

* Do I have a healthy heart?

* Do I exercise regularly?

* Do I eat right?

* Do I smoke?

If you answered no to any of the above you may clear up your problem with a few changes in your lifestyle. Take the time to consider correcting any bad habits you may have about your health. Once you start getting into shape you may find you don't need to have cosmetic surgery for men.

Now you need to do some serious soul searching and dig a little deeper into your mind. Is the only reason your doing this is because you have a low opinion of yourself? The truth is, if this is your primary reason, chances are you have other emotional problems and it's not your looks. Perhaps you should consider professional therapy to deal with your emotional scars prior to undergoing any type of body reconstruction.

More than likely if you do have under lying emotional problems you will feel no different after you are operated on. In other words it may help for a short while, but those problems are going to come back up. And when they do you’re going to have the same low self esteem you had, before the surgery.

To avoid major emotional disappointment with your reconstructed nose or other features, you will be much better off if you think you look ok now. But if you are thinking it will make you "the most handsome and perfect looking man alive" guess what? It ain't going to happen. No amount of surgery can produce the perfect looking man.

It’s important for you be realistic about what your bodily reconstruction can and can not do for you. If you are expecting your looks to “wow” over the board of directors and they appoint you the next CEO, don’t bet on it. Nor is it going to win the “love of your life” back, it may help, but most likely there were other issues that caused you to lose her.

Ok, you have heard about the things the plastic surgery won’t do for you. Now how about some things it can do for you. It can help you look younger and in turn that may help you feel younger. It can boost your ego and self confidence provided everything else is in line. You might even find yourself in a better social environment than you were in before. But frankly, that’s not going to be the case, unless you take the necessary actions to make positive changes in your life.

You have now had the chance to do some reevaluation and soul searching about cosmetic surgery for men. You are the one that must make the final decision. If it’s for you go for it.

About Pregnancy and Stress

About Pregnancy and Stress

Every woman who gets pregnant experiences some sort of stress in association with expecting a baby. There are big stresses for those that had problems with a prior pregnancy have had multiple miscarriages, or that have family members that have had complications. There are always small stresses that may include worrying about the health of the baby, how to pay for the baby, or any of the other life issues that can arise when a new baby is on the way or when thinking about pregnancy. Stress is not good for any pregnancy, though not all can be avoided. However, there are some things you can do to reduce stress.

If you are exceptionally stressed out when thinking about pregnancy, your worry could make things worse for you. It has been proven that stress can have bad physical effects on the body. Your body is going through enough while carrying a baby, so don't add to it with stress if you can help it. Ask around about pregnancy yoga classes and other exercise programs. These may not help with all of your worries, but both can help you alleviate some of the stress that you are feeling with your current pregnancy. They can also help you have an easier delivery.

Other than exercise, there are more things you can do about pregnancy stresses. If you have had complications with previous pregnancies or births, talk over your concerns with your doctor or doctors. There could be precautions you could take to avoid having the same problems. If you had gestational diabetes, for example, you could start a new eating plan that is good for you and the baby and that can help you avoid this problem. It may not, but just knowing that you are doing something about pregnancy complications you could have can help reduce your stress levels.

If you worry about pregnancy complications that can result in miscarriage, there may not much you can do after you have become pregnant, but if you are not yet there, you can find out if there are any problems you can clear up. If you have had multiple miscarriages, there could be a reason why and that reason may have a solution. Ask questions about pregnancy, miscarriage, and your reproductive health to see if you can do anything to up your chances for a healthy and full term pregnancy.

Those that gave birth prematurely are at a higher risk for doing it again, though it does depend on the reason why it happened in the past. Ask about pregnancy precautions that can help you avoid a repeat. If you delivered prematurely but no reason was found, there may not be much you can do, but you can take it easy overall. The stress of worrying about pregnancy and early delivery is not good for the baby, so anything you can do to minimize that worry is going to help. Stress can be a good thing if you use it to make sure you do all the right things for a happy and healthy newborn baby.
